The wife of Anthony Leonard Platt, the man better known as Atlanta hip-hop icon DJ Unk, has revealed the cause of his death.

DJ Unk, an Atlanta-based rapper who created hit dance music in the 2000s, has died. In 2006, DJ Unk's single "2-Step" went gold and his single "Walk It Out" went platinum, hitting the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Platt, revealed he died on Jan. 24 DJ Unk, the Atlanta MC known for his early 2000s hits including “Walk It Out” and “2 Step," died after suffering a cardiac arrest this week, according to his wife. Two days after the artist born Anthony Leonard Platt died at age 43,
