Vice President Kamala Harris says she believes Donald Trump “is a fascist” after his longest-serving chief of staff said the former president praised Adolf Hitler while in office and put personal loyalty above the Constitution.

Kelly, a retired U.S. Marine Corps general, claimed in remarks published by The Atlantic on Tuesday that he witnessed Trump express an admiration for "Hitler's generals" while serving as president. Trump was also quoted as saying that wanted "the kind of generals that Hitler had" during a White House meeting.

Donald Trump’s response to being described as a Hitler-loving fascist by his former White House chief of staff was a characteristic one: call the accuser–a decorated retired Marine Corps general–a “lowlife.
