A suspect is in custody after a man was found fatally stabbed along the Montour Trail in Moon Township on Monday. The Allegheny County Police Department said in a news release on Monday that officers were called to the trail near the 1900 block of Hassam Road around 3 p.

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (TNND) — A Pennsylvania state police officer is dead after being stabbed along a public cycling trail, according to local law enforcement.

A man died after he was stabbed on the Montour Trail in Moon Township on Monday afternoon. Emergency crews were called to the trail near Hassam Road just before 3 p.m. Once on scene, first responders found the man suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
