The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bringing back a familiar face for their stretch run. Tampa Bay is re-signing former Pro Bowl outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett, according to multiple outlets. Barrett cleared waivers on Friday after he was recently released by the Miami Dolphins .

Pewter Report is reporting that the Bucs are signing former Tampa Bay outside linebacker Shaq Barrett on Saturday morning after the 32-year old pass rusher cleared waivers.

The door is open for veteran edge rusher Shaq Barrett to play before the 2024 season is over. The Dolphins waived Barrett off of the reserve/retired list on Thursday and he would not be eligible to play if claimed because he was on the retired list.
