PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - More than 1,000 city workers have reached a tentative agreement with the City of Portland, avoiding a strike that was approved earlier this week. Oregon AFSCME Local 189 says the tentative agreement was reached after almost 18 hours at the bargaining table.
