A Powerball ticket sold in California won $18,461 but just missed the $59 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched four of five winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Monday, Jan. 27, the California Lottery said. Tickets sold in Arizona and Puerto Rico each won $2 million, lottery officials said.

The winning numbers in Saturday evening’s drawing of the "Powerball" game were: 08-15-17-53-66, Powerball: 14 (eight, fifteen, seventeen, fifty-three, sixty-six, Powerball: fourteen, Power Play: three)

The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $56 million with a cash option of $24.9 million. The winning numbers were: 2, 40, 47, 53 and 55. The Powerball drawn was 20 with a Power Play of 2X.
