The Penguin is obviously a big hit for Max under its still-existing HBO banner, and the service keeps proudly reporting viewership for good reason.

WBD did not report a viewership total for Episode 3 of “The Penguin,” which aired on Oct. 6. But on Oct. 13, the fourth episode reached 1.7 million viewers — a roughly 6% increase — before Episode 5 jumped by another 6% to 1.8 million viewers.

Viewers don't seem to mind the lack of heroes on The Penguin: the HBO Original hit continues to grow each week and hit another series high.
