High winds pose significant risks to residents and travelers throughout the affected regions as the National Weather Service issues wind advisories.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 12:48 a.m. on Wednesday valid for Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for Sussex, Warren, Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer,

Most of the state will be under a wind advisory for much of Wednesday. Temperatures will again rise Wednesday into the mid-50s across the Baltimore region.

On Wednesday at 3:35 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid from 10 a.m. until Thursday 1 a.m. for Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.

On Wednesday at 3:09 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid for Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.
