During this week's cold snap and winter storm, animal protection agencies in our area have been working non-stop to keep pets safe. Sadly, they've gotten many calls about people leaving their animals out in the elements.

Much of Central Texas will be under a Winter Storm Warning starting Monday at 6 p.m. AUSTIN, Texas - Much of Central Texas is bracing for bitter cold Monday and Tuesday after arctic air arrived Saturday. AUSTIN, Texas — A nationwide phone outage is impacting businesses across the Austin area. RingCentral, a California cloud-based communications platform that provides companies with phone and messaging tools, confirmed the outage Wednesday afternoon.

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, the agency responsible for managing and collecting toll fares on many of the express lanes in the Austin metropolitan area, increased toll rates Jan. 1.
