An Alabama inmate set to die next month is asking to be sent back to a Michigan prison. The state doesn't want him back.

A Nigerian-based conspiracy to extort money from a Marquette teen resulted in a guilty plea on money laundering.

An Alabama man pleaded guilty to money laundering tied to a Nigeria-based sextortion scheme that led to a Michigan teen’s death by suicide. Dinsimore Guyton Robinson, 29, of Huntsville, is among five U.S. residents linked to the scheme. He will be sentenced April 24 by U.S. District Judge Robert Jonker in Grand Rapids.
