Celtic have seen Kyogo Furuhasi leave for France, but had already done some business of their own, bringing Jota back to the club.
Leaving Celtic for Al-Itthad in a money-spinning move, Jota saw his career take a serious nosedive as he struggled for game time at the Saudi club. Moving to Rennes was supposed to give Jota a fresh start but it never panned out and it was here where the Celtic dressing room intervened.

As always, Celtic fans were first in line to react to the Rennes announcement and it was no surprise that they had a message to the French club about Kyogo. Another Celtic fan said, “Thanks, and look after Kyogo.” whilst another replied, “Enjoy kyogo. We’ll love having Jota back.”

Rennes have reportedly sacked their manager just three days after signing Kyogo Furuhashi from Celtic. The Japanese striker completed a £10million transfer to the French club on Monday in a move which saw winger Jota rejoin the Parkhead side by moving in the opposite direction.
Kyogo's move from Celtic to Rennes looks to have got off to a complicated start, with the French side sacking their manager.
