Utah County prosecutors on Tuesday filed more than a dozen new felony charges against OB-GYN David Broadbent, accusing him of sexually assaulting three of his patients during pregnancy exams.
The Provo OB-GYN accused of sexual assault by nearly 100 women is now facing additional felony charges, according to new court documents.
According to Salt Lake City Police, the incident occurred around 8:30pm in the area of 1400 South State Street. It is unknown what led up to the incident, but police confirm that one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police also confirm that one suspect is in custody and there is no further threat to the public.
The arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials occurred during a 33-hour period from Tuesday to Wednesday.
Utah lawmakers are expected to consider a bill limiting the use of polygraphs in sexual assault cases when the Legislative session begins later this month.
SALT LAKE CITY — Police arrested a man who is accused of stabbing another man so severely his intestines were visible. Salt Lake City police received information about an assault near 1470 S. State Street Thursday evening. After arriving, officers located a man with a critical injury to his stomach.
