Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans was named a Pro Bowl replacement for Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb on the NFC roster.

Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans is headed to his sixth career Pro Bowl Games. The NFL announced Evans is replacing Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb, who is unable to participate with his shoulder injury. Evans joins teammates Tristan Wirfs and Vita Vea in Orlando.

TAMPA — Mike Evans added to his Pro Football Hall of Fame-worthy resume on Monday with his sixth Pro Bowl selection. The Bucs receiver will replace injured Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb on the NFC roster for the NFL’s 2025 all-star event, the league announced.

As the 2024 regular season wound down, Lamb notably tried to power through a shoulder injury. He suffered an AC joint sprain during a November meeting with the Falcons in Atlanta. The Cowboys shut Lamb down for the season on Dec. 26, meaning he missed meetings against Philadelphia and Washington.

According to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this is the sixth career Pro Bowl Honor for Evans tying him for the third most selections by a Buccaneer in franchise history. Evans was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024.

For the second straight year, Baker Mayfield will end the postseason at the Pro Bowl Games. Mayfield was added to the NFC roster Tuesday when Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels withdrew due to injury.

Mayfield, previously named a first alternate, joins Jared Goff (Detroit Lions) and Sam Darnold (Minnesota Vikings) as the NFC quarterbacks. Mike Evans from the Bucs was recently added to the roster after CeeDee Lamb's injury, while teammates Vita Vea and Tristan Wirfs already selected.
