BEDFORD, NH — Police have identified the Bedford, New Hampshire officer who was shot during a struggle on early Saturday. According to Bedford police, the officer has been identified as 24-year-old Officer David Benway-Fongemie.

Around 12:53 a.m. Saturday, police reported to Country Inn and Suites in Bedford. A gun fired during a struggle, and one was arrested on several charges.
