The Las Vegas police sergeant accused of making several illegal arrests is now facing charges related to child pornography.

LVMPD Sgt. Kevin Menon has invoked his right to a preliminary hearing, which is set for Thursday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.

Menon was arrested Wednesday morning on two counts of possession of visual presentation depicting sexual conduct of a person under 16 years old.
