Mesa police confirmed Wednesday evening that they located the family of an older woman likely suffering from dementia who was found alone in a park on Wednesday afternoon. Detective Richard Encinas with the Mesa Police Department said Sue Miller is actually Gloria Sue Johnson, but Miller is her maiden name.

An 80-year-old woman who was found alone in a Mesa park is being reunited with family. Sue Miller, whose actually name is Gloria Sue Johnson (Miller is her maiden name) was found around 4 p.m. at Ensenada Park and didn’t know where she lived.

Mesa police had asked for the public's help when they found the woman in a park who did not know where she lived.
