Fire crews are working to contain a new wildfire that has erupted near the Hanson Canyon Dam in the northeast San Fernando Valley. Sky 5 is overhead.

A new wildfire was reported today at 10:27 p.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it is still undetermined.

Forecasters warn that dangerous winds will buffet Southern California for at least two more days as new wildfires broke out and a pair of major Los Angeles-area blazes burned for a third week.
