Millions of rents across the country may now be set using one company’s algorithmic software, according to a federal lawsuit and a Washington Post analysis.

The U.S. Department of Justice said it’s expanding its antitrust lawsuit against property management software company RealPage, this time adding six landlord companies with national real estate holdings.
