President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden will travel to New Orleans on Monday. The Bidens, according to a White house announcement on Friday, “will grieve with the families and community members” affected by the Bourbon Street attack on New Year’s Day that left 15 people dead.

As investigators reviewed evidence related to the New Orleans attacker, the city's tourist district returned to life after Bourbon Street reopened.

President Biden began an event at the White House by addressing the investigations into the New Orleans vehicle attack and Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas. Biden said there was no link between the two incidents but assured agencies would work to investigate "unanswered questions.
