Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud said he was inspired by Bryce Young and how he's led the Panthers after returning from his benching.

Stroud will play on Sunday at Nissan Stadium. Should the Texans pull out to a significant lead, Ryans could elect to rest him for next week’s wild-card round. The same goes for Houston’s struggles and trails entering the fourth quarter. While the second-year passer is dinged up, he didn’t appear on the team’s injury report.

Among those who could miss the second half is rookie cornerback Kamari Lassiter. He appeared on the injury report after dealing with a calf strain and was limited during practice
