We’re giving you the First Alert to the mild weather continuing before a cold front slides through the area late Saturday and into Sunday. Today marks 27 days in a row without rain here in our area.

Temperatures will be close to 60° from Thursday through early next week for high, but still not nearly as warm as we were to start this week.

The First Alert Weather Team says its partly sunny with a few showers moving inland this afternoon. It’ll be mainly dry this evening. It’s still breezy onshore winds. High risk of rip currents continue at our local beaches. Tidal flooding remains expected around the times of high tide along the St. Johns River.

The driest October on record continues with our rain-free streak now up to 25 days. We’re giving you the FIRST ALERT to mild weather continuing through the end of the week.

CBS News New York's Lonnie Quinn is calling for temperatures in the 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday and then we'll experience more seasonal conditions.

The clear and crisp start to the day will give way to a warm, sunny and dry afternoon. Highs will climb into the lower to middle 80s with east winds around 5 to 10 mph. Lows will again lower into the 50s overnight with a clear sky and light winds.

High pressure over the northeastern U.S. continues to keep the eastern half of the nation and the Mid-South dry. The dry pattern is also contributing to warmer temperatures during the day and this pattern will continue through the week.

CBS News New York's John Elliott has the latest weather forecast.

Temperatures will top out in the 50s and low-60s for the rest of the week. Frost and freeze conditions will return starting Thursday morning.We will continue to have an elevated fire risk over the next few days with warmer weather and dry conditions.

We see no sign of rain in our forecast for the next seven days. High pressure will remain in place keeping us mainly sunny and dry. Temperatures next week will likely climb five-to-eight degrees above average with highs in the lower 80s.
