Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah continues to reach new heights. On Wednesday, Bumrah surpassed India legend Ravichandran Ashwin’s all-time rating-point record in ICC rankings. Ashwin held the record for eight years when he reached rating of 904 in December 2016 which was the highest ever for an Indian bowler.

Bumrah had previously matched Ashwin's tally of 904 rating points ahead of the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
