Just when it seemed like the Los Angeles Clippers would grab a win in the official opening game at the Untuit Dome, Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant snatched it away. Durant and the Suns took down Los Angeles by a score of 116-113 in overtime to open their season.

Suns star Kevin Durant scored 25 points on 8-of-17 shooting, while Bradley Beal pitched in 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting in the victory. Durant, who has played in plenty of arenas - both new and old - over the course of his basketball career, loved the Intuit Dome and showered praise on Clippers owner Steve Ballmer in the process.

Phoenix clawed its way back and Durant's and-one layup over Harden plus the free throw put the Suns up 101-99 at 1:39 left. Harden then hit a stepback mid-range jump shot to tie the game, then on the Clippers' ensuing possession drew a foul from Durant at 41.5 seconds. Harden hit a pair of free throws and LA led 103-101.
