India's Larsen & Toubro reported a third-quarter profit miss on Thursday, and said its quarterly order growth quickened on-year, helped by strength in international business while the domestic economy slackened.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) reported an annual increase of 14.12 per cent in its profit attributable to equity holders of the parent for the third quarter of the financial year 2024-25 (Q3FY25). The profit stood at Rs 2,520.26 crore.

Larsen & Toubro on January 30 reported 14% jump in net profit at Rs 3,359 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024. It reported net profit of Rs 2,947 crore in the year-ago period. The firm's revenue rose 17% to Rs 64,668 crore in Q3FY25 as against Rs 55,128 crore in Q3FY24.
