SAN JOSE – Center Macklin Celebrini will remain out of the San Jose Sharks lineup for at least the next two weeks as the team tries to give his hip injury the proper amount of time to heal before he can continue with this rookie NHL season.

Sharks first overall draft pick Macklin Celebrini has been sidelined since opening night, and the latest update isn't encouraging.

San Jose Sharks General Manager Mike Grier told reporters not to expect an update on Macklin Celebrini's injury status for at least two weeks.
